At Clay Financial, we know that choosing how to access the wealth tied up in your home is one of the biggest financial decisions you will make. That’s why we have taken an education-first, zero-pressure approach since launching Canada’s first Home Equity Sharing Agreement (HESA) over two years ago.

Clayton helps us deliver on our promise of being education-first and zero-pressure, now at scale. He is trained extensively on a curated library of proprietary HESA reference documents and our public education materials. He doesn’t want to sell you anything, he just wants to give you clear, factual, and transparent answers so you can decide if a HESA could be a good fit for your financial goals.
While Clayton is a highly capable AI equipped with smart tools to seamlessly assist you, he is strictly an educator. He does not act as a legal representative of Clay Financial and cannot enter into binding agreements on our behalf. He also cannot provide tax, legal or financial advice. Sometimes Clayton may not have the answer: if you ever have a highly specific question (or just want to speak with a person), Clayton will happily summarize your chat and connect you directly with our human team.
Because trust and privacy are paramount when discussing your home and finances, we built Clayton with data security as a priority. Every conversation you have with Clayton is securely processed right here in Canada. And since Clayton is designed for education, not data collection, he will never ask you to provide sensitive personal information during your chat.
